News Flash (28/10/02)
Regal lost 5-3 to Aces United, Undeserved Winners, in a water-logged pitch.
Regal played the game with only 10 men as many of its players were down with
illness. Team manager, Hakim, was the stand in goalkeeper and he made many
world class saves to keep the goals at bay. Half of the team were made by guests
players where 2 goals were scored by Jaafar. Nizam scored in the second half
with a grounder after an excellent pass from Mahmood. The team was kept alive
with the hard running players such as Wan Imran, Ashari, Ryan, Azhari and Azaman
to make up for the lost number.
Even though the Regals lost the match, they knew that the opponent could be
thrashed easily any other day.

News Flash (02/12/02)
Regal FC thrashed its opponent 4-0 at Eunos Pri Pitch. The game was played in a poor condition pitch. Half the pitch was covered with ankle-deep mud. THe Regals started off with a bang. Scoring 2 goals in the first 10 minutes. We took our foot off the accelerator soon after. As most of the players were fasting, the pace of the game slowed down as the game progresses. Changes were made during half time.
Fresh legs replaced the tired ones. The opponents half was covered with mud. Therefore, it was very difficult to attack in the second half as the ball got stuck time and again in the mud. Even with the odds against us, we managed to score 2 more goals. Great effort and determination shown by all the players.
Well done, Regals !!

News Flash (01/01/03)
The Regals stepped into the New Year with a well-deserved come-from behind victory. Coming back from a long rest, the Regals were slow in getting into the paces. We struggled to string passes in the first half. We were a goal down during half time after the opponent's left midfielder beat our off-side trap and slotted in a goal.
Tactical changes were made during half-time. With the new pairing of Herman
and Wan in the middle of the park, we had more possesion of the ball. We pulled
a goal back immediately after kick-off thanks to Alvin. We were in control of
the game. Herman gave us the lead with a stunning left foot drive from 30m.
Mangkok sealed the game 5 minutes before the final whistle. We could have scored
more goals if the players have not left their scoring boots at home. Well done
Regals!!!
